Matches are open to members and guests. There are two categories of guests:
- Those invited by members at a match in which the inviting member is present
- Applicants to the club whom have passed a background check and are on the waiting list.
However, MPC reserves the right to refuse anyone to shoot if they fail to handle their firearms in a safe manner, or behave inappropriately, as determined by the match director, at his or her discretion.
Match fees are $1 for members and their family, and $5 for guests. Some matches may charge additional fees.
Waivers Are Required For Guest Participation
Eye and hearing protection is required for all competitors and spectators.

CAS Matches (The Monocacy Irregulars)
Cowboy Action Shoot (CAS) matches follow the SASS rules. These matches are held as a “Relaxed” cowboy shoot, so dress for the weather. Matches are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month year round.
Wild Bunch 1911 pistols are allowed in a separate class using the guidance provided by the Westshore Posse rules. All gun handling must be done in the shooting bays; guns shall not be uncased in the MPC parking area.”
Hyper-velocity ammunition is not permitted.
